Baking/Decorating Assistant, starting wage $15.00/hr (part time 15-25 hrs/week) - Requires occasional weekend shifts. Number of hours per week will be determined based on applicant's availability and the needs of the bakery. We need to fill hours in the afternoons & weekends. This role is a crucial component to our kitchen staff. Work would include: batch prep, baking, and various kitchen maintenance duties. Job requirements: capable of doing quick math, measuring ingredients accurately, following detailed instructions, and adhering to protocol and processes required in the kitchen. Priority will be given to those with previous kitchen experience. Knowing how to make any of our specialty items is a plus (such as macarons, cupcakes, muffins, etc.) Priority will be given to those with high level decorating experience as well, as we are in need of more decorators to carry the workload.
