November 13^th, 2022, was the day that Karly Rain Wood was killed by 4x repeat felons with guns. Karly, a La Vista native, left an impression on everyone who knew her.  Her love for pink and all things bling matched her sparkling personality.  She loved baking and sweet treats and especially sharing those treats with her friends and co-workers.  The world shines a little less without her here. 

Her family still has not been able to acquire a headstone and memorial location for Karly.  Her friends and loved ones are missing a place to "visit", mourn, and connect to her spiritually.  This has made the grieving process from the traumatic loss even more difficult. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise enough money to purchase a headstone and place of remembrance for Karly.
